Why everyone is verified

Verification is the entry ticket. It is what makes open seats with strangers reasonable, and other apps saw fake-profile reports fall soon after they required it.

Why the face stays optional

A badge builds trust without forcing a public face. That matters for introverts, public figures and anyone who wants privacy.

What it talks to

  • Member web app: The installable web app members use to verify, build a profile, find hubs and plans, chat, join voice speed-meets and use the safety tools.
  • Verification results store: Holds verification results, not documents: pass or fail, an age band and the badge state. Kept apart from everything else.

Designed for

  • Express consent before capture
  • Results only, never ID images
  • Switched off in Quebec until the biometric filing is done
