It drafts; the member decides
The planner replaced the first plan's AI host, which composed tables of strangers. Composing groups puts the platform in control of the meetup. Drafting a plan for a member who then hosts it does not.
Cost control
Smaller models for routine drafts, caching and per-member caps keep AI cost the lever it should be, not a surprise.
What it talks to
- API on Cloudflare Workers: One API for the whole product. It checks who the member is and what they may see, then calls the right module.
- Postgres with vector search: Stores profiles, hubs, plans, pulses and moderation outcomes, plus the embeddings used to find people and plans that fit.
- Discovery and recommendations: Finds hubs, people and open seats that fit a member, and excludes anyone who has been reported, pending review.
Designed for
- Suggests public places only
- Never picks a venue for strangers or composes a group
- Per-member token caps
