The problem
Importers and distributors of robots and connected devices have to show buyers, quickly, that a product can be sold where the buyer is. The proof lived in folders of certificates and email threads. Buyers wanted one page.
What we built
- A public lookup by brand, model or serial number.
- A status page per product. Green when every check is current, yellow while a change is under review. Red is never public: a failed check takes the listing down.
- Six dated checks per product. Data, access, updates, security, rules and support, each with its own date and history.
- A unit check by serial. Authorized partner, warranty valid.
- Five languages from day one, because the makers and the buyers do not share one.
The status is a dated check, never a certification, and the page says so.
How it is built
- Static pages and a JSON registry served from the edge. No database to run for the first version.
- Every listing carries the date it was last checked. A check without a date does not count as a check.
- Registry, pages and translations are generated and checked by agents; a person reviews every change.
Where it stands
Live in five languages, with sample listings while the first makers register.
